erm_whiteERM LLC is a risk management company based in Frederick, MD and has been granted exemption #11481 under the Section 333 process by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) commercially. It is virtually impossible to operate UAS for any business-related purpose in compliance with FAA regulations without a Section 333 exemption.

Operating under a Section 333 exemption requires certified pilots, FAA registered aircraft, a certificate of waiver authorization (COA) and meeting other stringent conditions that are necessary to maintain an equivalent or greater degree of safety as required by the regulations. ERM has certified pilots under contract, aircraft registered with FAA, applied for COAs for flying in up to Class C airspace and the means to comply with all the other exemption conditions. ERM can provide UAS services at many locations around the country at very affordable costs. ERM is fully insured with UAS, general liability (with named insureds), and professional liability coverage.  ERM understands what it takes to operate in a highly regulated environment such as a mine, quarry or explosives manufacturing plant.
